Narratives

We use narratives or in other words stories to help us understand our past, our present and our future. We define our relationships to others, our community, the world, the universe and to our very existence by the stories we tell ourselves, the stories we are told by others and how we start to write the narrative of our future.

Time is an invention. A story we tell ourselves to better understand our reality. We invented the calendar, we invented the clock we also invent all of the goals and ambitions that fill the minutes and days. Our choice is infinite within the framework of biology, cycles and capacities we have been gifted.

We can tell a story of how powerless we have been and will be into the future OR we can tell a story of the bold promise of the blood that runs through our veins, a story of the infinite possibilities in front of each and every one of us.

Be retrospective and anticipate all here in this moment. Embrace both the sense of the past and the impending future. But by god frame both with a sense of serenity, gentleness, and fun.
