Where has the wonder gone from our modern, privileged and predictable lives?

Wonder happens when finding something new, marinating in awe, inspiration that is found when seeing something for the first time and its found in holding a mystery in both hands and staring at it plainly whilst not trying to solve it (or run from it either).

We have scrubbed wonder out with Google, smart phones and being busy.

Too busy to unearth newness, too busy to watch what is emerging within ourselves or within other people or within the 'us' what we create together.

Too busy and important to step back and check in with cycles, our purpose, our direction and what we are investing our resources into.

We avoid the hard conversations, hard questions and reality checking because it will lead us to mysterious and awefilled places.
