Reconnecting to breath can start a process of reducing guilt (negative thoughts of the past) and reducing anxiety (fear of the future) leading to balance.
A balance that directs you to what is needed in the here and now. What bursts out of the current moment is the next moment which directs an exciting future and possibly even a defined past.
