It's not the last lift

Why do people rush at an open lift full of people ready to depart as if it is going to be the last lift of the day?

Are we concerned about missing out? "Well they are all in there I need to be too!"

Are we in such a rush that 30 seconds matters? "I couldn't possibly be 30 seconds later then I already am."

Could it be that we are too rushed to make things happen? - We might have more space for creativity.

Could we stop worrying about missing out and make a new connection in the foyer whilst we wait for the next lift? - We might have more people to help support the change we seek in the world.

A little less rushing and a lot more human to human connecting just might make this world a better place.
