New change models

The old change model looked like this: 

I have a problem or opportunity I don't know how to fix or capitalise on. 

I will go out and get help. The help will come in and fix this problem or capture the opportunity for me.

I'll sign a piece of paper to divest any responsibility in getting this resolved. 

The new change model looks like this: 

I have a problem or opportunity I don't know how to fix or capitalise on. 

The solutions here are complex and messy. Technology has to mash with my human resources to solve for this. 

I'll go out get help to build these core competencies into my team so we can co create sustainable change. 

One change model asks for black or white answers. The later rests firmly in the grey.
